The Nature Trail's CelesteHolland Lop Black Tortoiseshell Senior Doe
Celeste is a full sister, different litter, to The Nature Trail's Rio, who was my first BIS rabbit. She is also a full sister, different litter, to The Nature Trail's Chica. I only got three bunnies out of their mother before I sold her, but they were all keepers. Unfortunately, I lost their sire earlier this year. So I'm especially glad to have several bunnies out of him to work with. True, Celeste is not he perfect bunny. She's lacking in head mass, her top line peaks a little too soon, and she could use more crown. But just look at that chest. I love the fullness of her body. She's got cheeks and nice distance between her eyes that follows all of the way down.
Celeste has a number of characteristics I want in my line. I hope that her offspring will take me even closer to my ideal bunny.

She's a rascal. She jumped from the table about four times and had
a nice romp around the barn. She's a spirited girl. Luckily
she's calming down a bit with her first litter.
