My First Holland Lop Nationals GC The Nature Trail's Mercedes Takes 4th Place Broken Senior Doe

I only showed four rabbits for Nationals, but showed several more the day after. I learned a valuable lesson that weekend: I had been underestimating my rabbits. I vowed to take all of the rabbits doing well to the next national show.
Bear came in 15th, which really pleased me, given his tender age of 7 months.
The day after Nationals, several of my rabbits placed in the top ten, including Bear at fifth place and The Nature Trail's LaForge in second place, solid junior bucks.
But the story of the day for me was Rio, who was selected as BOSV! Gary & Susan Smith were BOB and Krys Kolivras was BOV. It was a very good day for District 9.

GC The Nature Trail's Mercedes came in fourth
place. She was my first homegrown grand champion and I was
very proud of her. I was also happy that she placed high
enough for me to receive one of the nickel silver loving cups
presented that year in honor of the 25th anniversary of HL
Nationals.
