GC The
Nature Trail's May
was BOSG at Convention 2007 in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. She's also a BIS rabbit with ten
legs. She has produced 32
kits for me including the following grand
champions:
Arabica,
Hope,
Imagination,
Lord,
Padme,
Panache,
and
Sakata.
She already has 5 grand champions among her
grandchildren. More>>>>> |

GC The Nature
Trail's Padme
picked up two BOS in one weekend as a junior under
Everett Hopper and Pam Nock. She picked up six
more legs in quick order and granded at six months old.
She now has 10 legs, including 2 BOBs. Her
parents are
GC The Nature Trail's Rio and
GC The Nature
Trail's May, the two of my rabbits that took
their classes at Conventions.

GC The Nature
Trail's Lexus, 5 legs, finished her junior show career
with two legs. She quickly won three more soon
after turning senior, including 1 BOB leg. Lexus is the third generation of
does born in my barn, including her mother
The Nature
Trail's Mercedes and her grandmother, The
Nature Trail's Alexis.

Trail's Francesca, 6 legs, is one of a pair of darling sisters
(the other is Sweet Pea). Francesca will have to
take over for their mother Nina, whom I reluctantly sold.

GC The Nature Trail's Jamillia,
7 legs, sister to
Jocasta and
Padawan,
finished her junior career with a Best of Breed and Best
Opposite Sex. She's a gorgeous doe with a better
coat and condition than her sister. I love them
both.

GC The Nature
Trail's Hope, 5 legs, is my great
hope for the future. She's a rebreeding of the
combination that produced
Padme.
She's half sister to the late
Panache,
one of my all-time favorites. Hope favors
Panache
more than
Padme in
many ways. Hope is a combination of Rio and May,
who goes back to Merlin. It's nice to see that two
of my main herd bucks can cross so nicely.

GC The Nature
Trail's Belle, 3 legs, has come back to me
after living with two other breeders. She's not a
very good producer. But since I have the time and
space right now, I'm trying to coax her along. She
has a fantastic body that would be worth reproducing.

Trail's Arabica, 4 legs, brings together two
lines in my barn - the Java line going back to Boris and
LL Brendan, and the May line going back to Camelot's
Merlin.

Trail's Evita, 3 legs, is part of an exciting
linebreeding project for me. She's both a Rio
daughter and granddaughter. Her show career was
cut short to put her directly into my breeding program.

Trail's Fabrizia, 3 legs, is my Hilary
replacement doe, as if any bunny could replace Hilary.
I was surprised at all easily Fabrizia granded. I
was more fond of her sister Kazia, whom I am still
trying to grand. It just shows you can never tell
what will happen. I'm thrilled with Fabrizia, who
is now in my breeding program.

Trail's Kizzy, 3 legs, number pending, is
another
Rio
daughter. She's also a Francesca daughter and one
of the few young rabbits that survived last summers feed
and water ordeal. Because none of my rabbits
looked good last summer, having to make four feed
changes, I was surprised when Kizzy began to emerge from
ashes as a beautiful phoenix.

The Nature Trail's
Kazia, 2 legs, is sister to Fabrizia.
She is the sister that reminded me much more of Hilary -
until I let her eat herself over 4.00. Kazia is
bred now and we will be put in an exercise cage to see
if she can be trimmed down to compete again for that
final leg.
