The Nature Trail's MacKensie Holland Lop Broken Black Senior Doe
The first weekend I showed MacKensie, she came in second three times and third once. All three times she came in second, the judges took a long time to decide the top placement. Things never fell her way, but I knew she would have her day. Not long after she turned senior, she won her first leg, a Best of Breed. I guess it was worth waiting for! I love MacKensie's bone, fur, full hindquarters, and chest. She's got full cheeks and nice width between the eyes.
MacKensie carries dilute in addition to a sable gene. With the right buck, she can produce a number of interesting colors. I hope that MacKensie will retain her condition enough to return to the show table at some point and be granded. If not, she's a terrific and very sweet mother. I really like her just the way she is. |

She produced
three adorable kits in her first litter: a broken sable point, a
broken tort, and a broken black. They are very cute already.
The broken black reminds me so much of her.
