In Memory Of GC The Nature Trail's MercedesHolland Lop Broken Black Tortoiseshell Senior Doe
She earned six junior legs, including four BOS. She earned two senior legs just two weeks after turning senior. She died with 23 legs.
She was also my first homegrown rabbit to
place at a national show. She placed fourth at the 2005 Nationals
in Columbus, Ohio. I was tickled that she won one of those

I liked just about everything about this doe. She had nice bone, full cheeks and nice width between the eyes that carried to the muzzle.
She had fantastic fur and passesdthat down to her offspring. Her grandson Lex was 5th place for fur at the 2007 Grand Rapids ARBA National Convention.
Mercedes produced a total of ten kits, mostly pedigree quality, including GC The Nature Trail's Lexus. Lexus, in turn, produced GC The Nature Trail's Lex. Lex is now beginning to get his turn as a breeder.
Mercedes died on November 22, 2007, from complications during kindling.
