Roxie produced two really great sons: GC The Nature Trail's MLK and GC The Nature Trail's Crazy Horse, but she hadn't really produced the replacement doe I had been looking for until the very end.

Roxie's story is below.

Roxie is definitely one of my favorite does. I have a special place in my heart for black does anyway, but she would be a favorite even if she were a tort!

I had high hopes for Roxie from the beginning. Both parents are grand champions with great features to pass down to Roxie and her sister, The Nature Trail's Piccolo. It looks like Roxie got most of the good stuff from both parents.

Holland Lop - The Nature Trail's Roxie - Senior Doe I love Roxie's hindquarter. If you could reach into the picture and feel her, you'd better understand what I mean.

Although she doesn't have a massive head, she has an adorable doe head with nice ear placement and good width between the eyes.

Roxie placed 11th at the National ARBA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stray white hairs apparently kept her out of the top ten, from what I can gather from the judge's comments.
