  This N That
Today's BLOG post is the last of 2006. We'll be enjoying Christmas activities next week and going on vacation the week after. If you haven't been reading this BLOG for long, perhaps you'd enjoy reading some of the favorite BLOG posts from the past while I'm on break. Or maybe there are some you'd like to re-read. There's a list of links at the very bottom of my website.

Beginning January 1, we will be in Washington, DC, for our first proper family vacation in years. It's hard to get away when you have over 100 animals to be cared for! Please keep my brave mother in your thoughts. My parents are also my neighbors, thankfully, so she volunteered to take care of all of them that week. Her one requirement was no babies due that week. That's why I have a ton of does due the week after that!

I welcome comments to my BLOGs, as long as they are appropriate. But please remember to sign them. I will publish comments that oppose my views as long as they are signed and offered without malice. I will publish unsigned positive comments at my discretion.

We have one Chihuahua puppy left. He's a blond male who may turn light red. He is adorable and has a great personality. He's is extremely well socialized. He is purebred and comes with papers to register him, if you wish. He's $350.

If you have a BLOG topic you would like to see covered, feel free to email me at laurie@thenaturetrail.com. I can't promise that I'll use every suggestion, but I'm always looking for food for thought.

I have enjoyed writing this BLOG again this year. I get a whole lot out of writing it because I have to think about how I feel about issues. I get to enjoy a show all over again when I report on it. When I assemble statistics for my BLOG, it makes me take the time to look at them. I really appreciate all of the people who have taken their time to write to me about how much they enjoy the BLOG. It helps keep me motivated to continue.

I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and happy new year filled with friends, bunnies, and success.

Laurie

I am, if nothing else, a busy woman. But I've filled my life with people, activities, and things I love, so I wouldn't change a thing! My list of favorite things include my husband Andrew, our four children, my Holland lop show rabbits, our long coat Chihuahuas, ballroom dancing, and my cobalt glassware, gifts, and accessories business.
