  I Wish You Bunny Love
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! And Happy Birthday to Peter Bachmann!

Today is such a special day and we're seeing more excitement around our house than usual.

Our oldest daughter Sarah, now 17 and currently with a boyfriend, is expecting a Valentine's surprise her guy has been heavily hinting about. She practically floated out of the house this morning.

Our youngest daughter Anna has been counting the minutes until today. Like Peter, Anna's birthday is on Valentine's Day. But today, she turned ten and is so excited to be a double digit now.

I'm delighted because Anna picked something for her birthday dinner that I can actually eat on my diet - minus the cake and ice cream, that is.

But I am most excited today because I finally got live babies out of GC The Nature Trail's Panache! Yeah! She joins her half-sisters Padme and April in keeping my May line going. And this is a full sibling breeding with Lord, so I'm really hoping for a bunny that looks like Grandmama!

All three are brokens. They were born on day 33, are big, and were well covered and already fed when I found them this morning. Good job, Panache!

I hope that you have a wonderful Valentine's Day, too. Perhaps some of the humans in your life will remember you with a card or flowers or a date or other treat. But if they don't, you lucky person that you are, have all of the love and affection you need right in your barn.

Perhaps today would be a great day for a special sweet potato treat. Or maybe banana slices all around will help you share the love.

For some special rabbits, though, just an extra long pause at their cages to rub head and ears will be just the right way to spend Valentine's Day.

Heck, maybe there's a special bonus for breeding rabbits on Valentine's Day. Maybe Cupid will help give things an extra push!

Whatever you do today and whoever you spend time with, I hope you have a wonderful day, full of love.
