Holland Lop - GC The Nature Trail's Hilary - Broken Senior DoeHilary is a sister from my very best litter so far:  May, Purdy, Hilary, and Jewel.  I was anxious to get started breeding her, which turned out to be a good thing because she's a great producer and wonderful mother.

I took her out of my breeding program long enough to grand her.  She's finished now and ready to resume her duty as a producer.

Hilary is a very upright bunny.  If anything, she tends to overpose.  And pushing her down makes her want to pop up even more.  But when she's calm and settled, she has a beautiful headset without so much daylight showing through between her front legs.

Holland Lop - GC The Nature Trail's Hilary - Broken Senior DoeThe entire litter has nice depth over the hindquarter.  She was antsy in our photography session and I didn't get a good picture of her side view.  She's not really long, as shown her side view.  She's just stretched out.

I like the crown definition, ears, and width between the eyes.  Like her sister, she was exactly 3.00 when registered.  She's a bit larger now, but not by much.

Hilary and May are lightly patterned brokens.  Their sister Purdy has a blanket pattern.  So far, I am seeing a lot of lightly patterned rabbits from her and May.  I actually like the look of a light pattern - as long as the fur is bright white and not dingy.  But I do get nervous when the judge starts calculating the percentage of pattern.  I'm sure both she and May are very close to the required 10%!

I expect that Hilary will be a fuzzy producer like her sister Purdy.  So far, she hasn't had the opportunity to show me.  But we shall see.  She is throwing cute, short little ears and short bunnies so far.  I can't wait to start showing the next generation.
