Mars is the result of the same breeding that brought me LaForge, Brook, Geordie, Whorf, Becky, and Laredo, so my expectations were high. I got a litter of two brood does and two show bucks. Of the two, I like Mars best. And apparently, so do the judges. He's generally come in first or second so far.

Mars' goal for 2006 is to earn his senior leg and grand. I think that he will, sooner or later, but he may need to mature a bit first.

He has lovely cheeks and great width between the eyes. I love his bone and he has a nice top line. He's full in the hindquarter, too.
